Going to Queensland? My Big Dream

When I was doing my Master at University Muhammadiyah of Surakarta, I used to go together with some teachers from Senior High School 1 Pati. I left home very early after doing my Subuh prayer and arrived at Purwodadi at around 6 a.m.  I park my motorcycle somewhere behind the fuel station and continue the travel with them to Solo.  One of them has just been arriving from Queensland and told much about the school and his activities during his visit there.  I enjoyed his story very much and felt that someday I am also able to do the same thing.

Time passed so quickly.  It was 2007, and we finished our first semester.  Luckily on September in the same year I was accepted at Diponegoro University.  I got scholarship from Depdiknas through beasiswa unggulan,  I started my new class at Magister Ilmu Administrasi, Magister Administrasi Publik.  There were 30 students in my class.  I still went to UMS on Saturday morning.  When Pak Budi Santosa were on the same table with me, we wrote what we were dreaming about for the next years.  He wrote: 2008 visiting Singapore, 2011 becoming school principal, etc.  I did the similar thing.  We were so lucky because we had a very challenging chance to have double-degree program at University utra Malaysia. There were 8 people going there, Bu Anik, Bu Siti, Bu Risky, Bu Anin, Pak Budi, Pak Subi, Pak Huda, and me.

We began our educational administration at Graduate School, Universiti Putra Malaysia on July 2008.  We stayed at Kolej Serumpun and had to to go campus by campus bus everyday.  We visited other students' lodging house every Sunday to have pengajian. We discussed many kinds of topics guided by some friends who are good at Islam.

I passed my Master at Undip in 2010 and UPM in 2011. I was back to teach at Junior High School 1 Japah. I moved to Junior High School 2 Blora in 2011.
